ReAL Services stands for Research and Archival Library Services and is the “real” heart of UFDC’s mission to preserve dolls, promote the hobby of doll collecting and to provide educational materials pertaining to dolls.
This department of UFDC encompasses our Research and Program Libraries, and our Ephemera Archives. Through ReAL Services, members are able to obtain educational programs through the mail for personal study or club use. The lists and forms linked to here will enable members to access the program library. There is also an actual library at UFDC headquarters that members can visit in person to conduct research.
Not a member? It is easy to join UFDC and have full library privileges. Visit the Membership page learn how to become a member today!
Are you interested in contributing a program to our library? Please consult the Audio Visual Program Contest page.
Scholarships are available through ReAL Services for those who wish to develop programs. Please see the Scholarship Application for more information.
Finally, we hope to use this website to offer many seminars and programs on-line. For now, you can view the first Mini Seminar: An Excerpt from “The ABCs of Conservation”.
