UFDC Region 13
Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Greetings, Region 13 members. Valarie Moyer is here. I am a mother of four adult children and grandmother of 13 grands (Four adults). I live in Jonestown, PA, a rural farmland community in Northern Lebanon County, PA. I have resided in this general area for the past 30-plus years thanks to service with the U.S. Armed Forces, retiring after 24-plus years. I am an Asheford Institute Of Antique graduate, a BS graduate of Columbia Southern University (Business Administration), and an MA graduate of Kairos University/Missio Seminary (Counseling). I am a native of Philadelphia, PA, reared in southern Georgia and Florida.
Now, as a veteran, semi-retired, I spend my days as a mental health counselor and life coach, playing with my two dogs (Rex and Pepper), and indulging in my passion for dolls and dollhouses. This passion extends to the preservation and restoration of dolls, a labor of love I undertake for doll lovers and collectors throughout the United States. My dedication to this craft is evident in the numerous articles and books I've written and published. I am an active member of UFDC, with good standing in Central Penn Doll Collectors, Hershey, PA, Dolls Online Doll Club, and National Doll Club. I have hosted dolly tea events, chaired doll luncheons and Christmas/Holiday parties, and presented various educational programs with social organizations within the regional doll clubs. I have chaired several exhibit displays for UDFC and club events. I am an active member of the Doll Doctors Association, currently serving as the President of the Pennsylvania Chapter. I have had the opportunity to serve on UFDC committees as a UFDC club delegate and have alternated several times.
