Jim Howard is a fashion illustrator, painter, actor, set designer, costumer, designer for dolls, and now paper doll designer/illustrator.
Jim began a successful career as an internationally published fashion illustrator at Neiman Marcus in Texas and then moved to New York to freelance for most major fashion stores, cosmetic firms and advertising agencies in the sixties, seventies and eighties. His work appeared in newspapers and magazines for such stores as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bonwit Teller, B. Altman’s, Bloomingdale’s, Marshall Field’s, Garfinckel’s, Bullock’s, and Maison Blanche, garnering numerous industry awards.
His work is now in the collections of the Boston Museum of Art, Parsons, Fashion Institute of Technology, Texas Christian University, the Denton Texas Art society collection, and personal collections throughout the country.
