Fall 2015 – Paper Dolls
Happy 100th Birthday, Raggedy Ann – An Original Paper Doll
by Patricia Corte Rooney
Patricia was very honored to illustrate this paper doll celebrating Raggedy Ann’s 100th birthday for Doll News. Of all the many dolls in her collection, her very own Georgene Raggedy Ann (which has been with Patricia since the age of four) is her most favorite doll. Patricia is a graduate of Parsons School of Design where she received her degree in fashion illustration. She was the Grand Prize winning designer of the Robert Tonner/UFDC Design Contest in 2009.
